Effective communication is essential to maintaining relationships. We often think of communication as the verbal or written words that we express to others. However, there are so many others ways in which we communicate to those around us. Our nonverbal behavior, our silence, our presence or absence. We communicate through music, drawings, images, dance, and all other art forms. The assumptions that we make are also forms of communication. I invite all of you join in on the challenge that I present to my best friend this month – push the boundaries of how you define communication and communicate your thoughts, love, feelings, ideas, gratitude, etc. with others in your life.
“The 1st week of November is World Communication Week. Our communication with each other is one of the most powerful tools that we possess. As you read through this postcard, take in each suggestion and recognize how they represent different forms of communication. This month, I challenge you to communicate. Push the boundaries of how you define communication and find little moments to communicate your thoughts, love, feelings, ideas, gratitude, etc. with others in your life.”

JUNE - “As the Solstice nears, decide how you would like to honor the cycles of nature and welcome summer. Allow your mind to create any possibility. Then, take action. Truly celebrate.”
This is a particular favorite of my summer’s production.
